Taylor our bartender/server made the best, Irish Coffee! It was hot, surprisingly sweetened, and the whiskey pour was generous. And was that fresh nutmeg on top?! DELICIOUS and undoubtedly the best I've ever had! We ordered pancakes, scrambled eggs with cheese, and bacon. The pancakes were difficult to cut but tasted okay. The eggs seemed to be either made from liquid egg substitute or were cut with lots of milk. Not my favorite texture but they tasted fine. The bacon however was too thin and way overdone. The staff work as a team - helping each other's tables, so after it began getting crowded and the bar picked up other servers tended our needs. This worked out okay but didn't feel as personal as the initial experience and connecting with Taylor. Overall the drink was better than the food so we'll be back the next time we're in the San Diego area. Lol.

Trust the reviews here guys, they are WELL EARNED. Drinks were PERFECT, menu is fun and imaginative, food comes out in great time and is DELICIOUS, and the service? Unbeatable. Michael was our server, and I couldn't have asked for a better guy. Checked in consistently, super familiar with the menu, and made great recommendations. We felt right at home, and super comfortable. The ambiance here is amazing, it feels like a huge group hang out, everyone is so friendly. We aren't from San Diego, but will definitely be back. Great job guys, keep doing what you're doing, & give Michael a fat raise!

Stumbled across this place on a TripAdvisor Top 10 article. I picked up a California Burrito and took it to go. Brought it back to my hotel room (about a 15 min walk) and dug in. The burrito was delicious. The only thing that would have made it better was if it were hot. It wasn't cold, but it was barely lukewarm.
